Do I need a website already?
No. When you sign up we build you a starter website for your trade in about a minute. Edit the words and photos, press Publish, and it’s live. If you already have a site, you can link to your proposals from it or replace it.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, on Pro and Growth. Your site runs on your own address (yourbusiness.com) and your proposals match it. On Starter your site lives at yourname.hellotopaid.com.
How do customers sign and pay?
They open your proposal on their phone or computer, pick the option they want, add any extras, and sign with their finger or mouse. If you ask for a deposit, they pay it right there by card or bank transfer. The money goes to your own Stripe account.
Are e-signatures legally binding?
Each signature records the signer’s name, the time, their IP address and browser, and their agreement to sign electronically: the record the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA look for. You get a PDF with the signature record attached. (This isn’t legal advice; check your own situation.)
Is there a contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month and you can cancel any time. Your customers, proposals and website content stay yours.
What does the payment fee cover?
A small percentage of the deposits and payments you collect through Hello to Paid: 1% on Starter, 0.7% on Pro, 0.5% on Growth. It’s on top of Stripe’s standard processing. There’s no fee on payments you take outside the app, like cash or checks.
Can my office manager and crew leads use it?
Yes. Starter includes one user, Pro up to five, and Growth unlimited. Staff can build and send proposals without seeing your billing or settings.
